Descending the spiral staircase down the nine-tiered well was a profound experience. With each step, the sounds of the world faded, replaced by the drip of water and my own echoing footsteps. It felt less like walking down and more like journeying inward. At the bottom, a series of cryptic tunnels led me through darkness, guided only by a faint light ahead, until I emerged, blinking, into a hidden grotto. It was a physical metaphor for rebirth, and I felt it in my soul.
